A LITTLE BIT
Background
I completed my Master of Business Administration (MBA, 2010) in Executive Management, with a specialty in Leadership. The themes of leadership, redemption, and the choices that shape us have long fascinated me—and naturally found their way into my novels.
I began writing in my thirties, although the stories that would eventually become the Fleck series didn’t fully emerge until I approached retirement at 56—when I devoted myself more fully to finalizing the novels I had written and tucked away for years.
At 60, I created this image. It is equal parts satisfying and amusing to look back at the writer I was when I began—through the words and stories of my younger self.
For those of you who knew me as Carrie Landry—I changed my name to Carrie Cotton when I married in 2013
My Inspiration
Most of my writing occurs in the sanctuary of my sunroom, overlooking the ocean in a lovely seaside city in beautiful British Columbia, Canada. I sincerely hope you enjoy this escape into Fleck’s struggles and revelations. I’m wildly optimistic that you’ll find some snip of insight or amusement in this scribbling.
